Look no further than Star Idaho,
with it's small town charm and a growing community. Located 25 miles northwest of Boise, Star's population has grown to an estimated 7,797 residents. Many new developments in and around the city have increased its population in recent years with new development still in the works.
Just south lays The Boise River, providing many opportunities for outdoor fun including fishing, swimming, floating the river on inter-tubes or rafts or just hiking along the shore. Whatever your desire, you'll find the banks of the Boise River an relaxing retreat.
Star is still small in stature,
although the business community is growing. In the center of town is the Star Mercantile Store, the only grocery store in town and a fixture in the city of Star. Purchase groceries and other sundries at this well-known gathering place. Several new businesses have located in the community in recent years with plans for more service-oriented businesses to open soon.
Idaho's largest school district, the Meridian School District, serves the area in and around Star. Currently, Star has one elementary school, Eagle Middle School and Eagle High School.

Things to do in Eagle Idaho
Just east of Star
is the newest golf course in the valley, the River Birch Golf Course. With a rural setting and wide open fairways providing an excellent golfing experience for both the new and experienced players alike.
Firebird Raceway, north-east of Star on State Highway 16 provides great weekend fun and excitement throughout the summer months, as races run on their straight track.
